Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil (born July 17, 1988) is an American actress from the United States. Her debut role was Jasira in the film Towelhead. The film earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Female Lead. The following years she played small parts in films and TV shows like The Last Airbender (2010) and 90210 (2011) before being featured in the short-lived ABC series Lucky 7 (2013). She was a part of Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy drama series The Magicians from 2015 to 2020.The September 11th 2001 terrorist attack prompted her family to return to the United States. They relocated to an Mormon community in San Diego where she attended an ordinary public high school for a week. Because of the post-9/11 tension in the U.S., her schoolmates didn't welcome her warmly. She said that her return was not easy: "I hated it. I was called a whore on the first day of school and somebody said they thought my father was a terrorist funder. I was conscious from the beginning that nobody would wish to be my best friend. I experienced panic attacks in the first year here."
