Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for roles as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz early. She played lead roles in television dramas as early as the age of 16. Her fame was due to her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra has been engaged in numerous important projects both locally and internationally. One of these is the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. She also remained member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
